After Successfully clearing his mind of negative thoughts of his friend John, Peter was eager to explore the extent of his new ability to manipulate internal thought patterns. So far he had reversed his feelings of misfortune regarding his early childhood injury, restored his faith in his physical abilities and eliminated unwanted negative thoughts about an individual. He could now see the pattern to these though-control exercises and considered that he could easily carry out a similar operation on any issue of his choosing. Peter felt, for the first time ever, that his state of mind was not at the mercy of his habitual thoughts. He felt, indeed he knew, that now his thoughts, and therefore his state of mind, were under the direction of his own will.
Being able to alter, and even eliminate, negative thoughts of people and events from the past, as described in the book, seemed straightforward to Peter now, and he wondered if it might be possible to do a higher level operation that would not require every case to be carried out individually. There might be untold instances of negative thought sequences lurking in the caverns of his mind, thought Peter, as he formulated a plan to deal with them all, as a group.
Since it had been so effective the last time he did these exercises, Peter brought to mind the green filter, placing it atop his head, and thereby cutting off the intrusion of any negative thoughts. Without centering his thoughts around any particular person or event, he visualized the green laser beam penetrating the filter and impinging on the transceiver in his head. This had the immediate effect of placing his brain in the high energy state, as described in the book. With each inhalation of his regulated breathing pattern, Peter could feel the infusion of energy into his torso. This time, upon each exhalation of his breath, he imagined a red tint to the energy that was leaving his body, through his feet. Having done the relaxation exercise numerous times, he could bring on the euphoric feeling that accompanied it almost instantaneously.
With the influx of the green, positive energy into his body, and the expelling of the red, negative energy through his feet, Peter imagined any bitterness or resentment that might be lurking in his mind, being eliminated. This could include bad feelings about prior events, individuals and situations; he imagined them all leaving in a red cloud and sinking into the Earth, where they would be neutralized. In the spirit of further experimentation, Peter decided that, in future, he would endeavor recreate this state of tranquility and euphoria simply by commanding his mind to enter the “Zan-zone”. This particular session seemed to have been much more transcendental than the others, probably because he was not having to focus on any memories, simply having to expel red energy, so Peter resolved to include this in his daily routine.
